An employment proposal is a document which contains an account of the qualities and achievements of an individual presented to a potential employer in the hope of securing employment. Such an employment proposal must not be overstated, though the candidate for the job must be able to present himself well. It is the basis on which further communication may be established between the employer and the employee and thus, it must be written carefully.

- I wish to be employed as the personal assistant [PA] to the Head of the Finance Department in your esteemed establishment. I have the requisite secretarial skills [please check attached documents] and in my sincerity and willingness to work hard, I shall be able to meet the stiff targets set by you.
- This employment proposal is in response to the advertisement you placed in the Sunday Paper, on the 3rd of May 2011.
My previous work experience includes: Secretaryship to the CEO of Bright Eye Pvt. Ltd.
