A land lease proposal letter is a document that is created in the form of a letter which is used by the landlord to lease a plot of land to another individual for a specific period of time in return for a rent. The letter can be written either on behalf of the landlord or the tenant, where the basic terms and conditions of the lease are suggested. After getting a positive reply to the proposal letter, a formal written agreement can be made regarding the lease of the land. The main points to be included in the letter are the names and address of the respective parties, location and other details of the plot, rent and term of lease.

Subject: Lease proposal for land
Dear Mr Seashells,
With reference to your advertisement published on February 19, 2012 about the lease of the land located on Hill View Farms, I would like to propose a lease plan for you as I am interested in using the property as a ranch. I would like the term of the lease to be at least 2 years and we can extend it further if you wish so. I am willing to pay the amount requested by you in the advertisement, that is, $2000 as monthly rent.
None of these terms are final and I am open to discussion should you want any changes to the proposal.
Yours truly,
Gerald Jennings,
2022 Golden Lane, Dallas
