A work proposal letter is a document, which proposes the plan or prerequisites need for any particular work. It is generally written by offices and business companies to other institutions and organizations, outlining the plan of their business. It gives an idea to the readers as to what the business is all about. Therefore, the style of such a letter is absolutely formal, though the tone should be convincing.

Subject: Work Proposal Letter
Sir,
On the behalf of my company, I am submitting an interesting work proposal to you, which I hope would interest you. We have opened a new electronics shopping mall in the city and would require electronic companies to set up their shops in it. It is primarily designed, so that customers get all electronic goods such as television, refrigerator, air-conditioner, cell phones and all other electronic goods under one roof. No cost will be charged for companies to set up their shops in the mall, however, 10% of their profit will be charged as commission for every month.
This is an exciting offer for all electronic companies, as for the first time, such a mall has been made in the city. It would maintain healthy competition and would help you to attract more customers. I enclose herewith a copy of the detailed proposal and the guidelines and requirements of setting up a shop. I hope to work with you, which would be mutually beneficial for both of us. I will be waiting for your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Toby Ball,
Marketing Director,
E-Zone Mall.
